For the purposes of the website, I think it would be good for guro to have its own category. Lj has tags, which is good because you can simply click on the 5. warning: guro tag; there’s nothing like that on here if I just want some guro without having to look through every individual post’s warnings.

On the other hand, mixing the guro in with everything else might encourage people to try it who otherwise might pass it by. That’s what makes it a difficult decision for me; it seems unfair to isolate it entirely.

I’m sure I’m putting way too much thought into this.
